Devon Roberts

Devon Roberts was inspired to start performing stand-up comedy after giving one of the world’s best wedding toasts. “It was like a scene from a movie,” said a random wedding guest. She began her stand-up comedy journey in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 2019, and has performed all over North Carolina on both clean and raunchy shows. She can often be seen at Goodnights Comedy Club and at the Raleigh Improv. Devon has opened for Brian Simpson, Corinne Fisher, and Emma Willmann. She produces the monthly comedy show “Sugar On Top” at Anisette Sweet Shop in Raleigh.
Devon grew up in the industrial town of Livonia, Michigan. With her almost Canadian accent, she regularly weaves Michigan lore into her darkly, whimsical jokes. Delivering her jokes with a glinting deadpan, Devon is a crowd favorite. Her viral tweets have been featured by WhoHaha, Buzzfeed, and the Huffington Post. She was in the 2022 North Carolina Comedy Festival in Greensboro and the Motor City Comedy Festival in Detroit. We are excited to have her headlining on our stage in The Church on April 18th for Comedy & Cocktails.
