Meet Semaj Yarn
Semaj Yarn, also known as DJ Fuzzy Wuzzy, who hails from Garner, North Carolina. At just 12 years old, he discovered his passion for music and DJing. and with over 20 years of experience, he has performed in various cities such as NYC, Chicago, LA, Philly, Maine, and Miami, to name a few. As an open-format DJ, Fuzzy has played a diverse selection of music genres, including top 40, pop, hip-hop, electro, Latin, and country. His talent and versatility were both recognized when he was named America's Most Versatile DJ by First Fridays-Chicago in the summer of 2019.
Being driven by his passion for music, Fuzzy is also the founder of Live Action Events, a top-rated event company that offers a range of services such as DJ, photography, videography, catering, decorations, flowers, and more. His company has been voted the best in weddings every year since 2015. Fuzzy earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where he studied Music Education with a focus on percussion, Exercise and Sports Science, Nutrition, and Business. He recently obtained his Doctorate in Strategic Leadership from Liberty University in December 2021.
Besides being an accomplished DJ and entrepreneur, Fuzzy is also a loving single father of two. When he is not entertaining crowds at bars, clubs, and weddings, he spends quality time with his children, often kayaking on the local bodies of water.
