The Real DJ Epic
Witnessing the undeniable talent of DJ Epic should be on the bucket list of any music enthusiast. Originally influenced by the Motown sound and Hip Hop, Epic quickly developed an enduring passion for perfecting his skills of scratching, blending, and mixing, while incorporating his own unique take on the sounds. He started out playing house parties and private events, and eventually had his first big break at a big nightclub in NC. This and his natural talent led to receiving the honor of competing in Michael Baisden's Battle of the DJs, eventually winning first place, and earning a title as Michael's Official DJ for 2011. Following that success, he was booked to play at the Omni Dallas Convention Center Hotel with over 3,500 people in attendance.
From holding multiple residencies at some of the biggest clubs to having a popular radio show, his talent did not stay unheard of and he became one of the most coveted DJ in Fayetteville NC. On top of that, Epic is also a skilled music producer, having worked with the likes of Jazzy Jeff, Jagged Edge, Chubb Rock and more. In 2015 his astounding skills even earned him second place in Shaq's Battle of the Mix with his remixes being featured regularly on Shaq-Fu Radio. Epic continues to break boundaries, exhibiting a music prowess on the turntables that cannot be matched. We are excited to have Epic on our team of resident DJs and love to see him tear the roof off The Church every time he hits the booth.
