Mississippi Sin Sliders
Recipes BY Chef David Sears
This is a fun and easy recipe that can either be made as a dip or can double as a slider sandwich. (Makes 8 servings)
- 8 oz warm cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 3 tbsp ranch powder
- 2-3 tbsp jalapenos (or to taste)
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/2 to 3/4 lb ham sliced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tsp onion and garlic powder
- 10 slider buns sliced in half in the middle
Method: Combine first 5 ingredients. Adjust seasoning to taste. Combine cheese until well incorporated. Place the bottom half of the roll in a 13 x 9 pan. Spread 1/2 of the mixture over the bottom buns. Add ham and then spread the remaining mixture on top of the ham. Cover with the bun tops. Mix butter, onion, and garlic powder and brush the tops of the buns with it. Cover the top of the pan with foil and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted. ~ Sláinte
