So Long - Farewell - Auf Weidersehen - Adieu

They say that all good things must come to an end, and that change is inevitable. Well, that may be true, but it doesn’t make it any easier when you have to say goodbye to someone special. Our long-time manager, Erin Burkett, will be leaving us next month to pursue a new life with her son, Killian, in the Pinehurst area, where her mom lives. She will be missed.
Erin first came to work at Paddy’s as a door girl in 2010. Her hard work, reliability, and honest nature led to becoming a mixologist in September 2016, when we reopened following a fire. She is a natural leader, so it was an obvious decision to move her into management in 2019. Erin was critical in the reimagining of Paddy’s after the pandemic. She worked closely with Jessica and the rest of our team to formulate and implement the ideas that would move our business to the next level.
Management is not for the feint of heart. It takes courage, perseverance, and a thick skin. Erin did it and she did it well; her abiding principle being a deep concern for the people around her, and their wellbeing. She leaves with our gratitude and respect for being a vital designer in Paddy’s development over the last several years.
